Simple and Easy Chocolate Balls

Chocolate is one of the most popular food types and flavors in the world. A variety of foodstuffs involving chocolate exists, particularly desserts that include cakes, pudding, mousse, chocolate brownies, and chocolate chip cookies. The seeds of the cocoa tree have an intense bitter taste and must be fermented to develop the flavor. After fermentation, the beans are dried, cleaned, and roasted. The shell is removed and then grounded to get unadulterated chocolate in the rough form. Much of the chocolate consumed today is in the form of sweet chocolate, a combination of cocoa solids, cocoa butter or added vegetable oils, and sugar.

Preparing Chocolate Balls at home!! How?? Here is the way... Even kids can try this out with an adult supervision. I have taken a 250 ml cup for measuring the ingredients. You will need a saucepan and a beater/mixer/wooden spatula. You can make 15 to 20 chocolate balls with the given ingredients, can vary with the size of the chocolate ball you shape into. You can even use a mould to shape your chocolates.

1 Step

In a saucepan, add 4 tbsp cocoa powder, 1 cup sugar and ¼ cup water and cook in medium flame for 5 mins. Mix this thoroughly till sugar dissolves completely. When it starts to boil, remove from fire and allow the mixture to cool down.

2 Step

Beat the cool mixture well with a beater or wooden spatula for 5 mins. To this, add 1 cup milk powder little by little and mix well to make a dough. Take a small portion of the dough and shape it into a ball or as desired.
